Scope:

  • Conduct Energy Audits of each facility
  • Prepare plans and specifications for bids
  • Monitor contractor performance
  • Final inspections and verification of savings
  • QA inspections and savings verification of lighting and VFD installation projects at several dozen other municipal buildings throughout CT

Results: Successful implementation of these projects in 2000-2002 through NU’s State and Municipal Buildings Program. State and municipal buildings saved over $1 million per year at no cost, due to full funding by Northeast Utilities

2. New Construction Program

Duties include review and takeoffs from new construction plans, specifications, and submittals. Input data into model to check compliance with ASHRAE 90.1-1999, and determination of customer incentives.

3. Small Business Energy Advantage Program - QA Contractor

Duties include Pre and Post inspections of lighting and refrigeration projects at sites throughout CT. Reporting to NU personnel on a weekly basis.
